Creating a Family Team
...Help each other...
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."
Galatians 6:9
We all have such busy lives. It's so easy to get really consumed with our own agenda and overlook the needs of the family team.
In the picture above, I had to capture the moment of my husband and son. My husband had such a busy day, but our son really needed help with his online project. I wanted to cover for my husband to help our son, but I knew that my husband really wanted to help him himself. They worked late into the night encountering so many system issues that I frustrated my husband so much (Oh la...la...), yet he persisted. They went as far as they could go, but still couldn't finish the task.
Curious to find another solution, my husband and I discussed other possible options. The next day, I worked with our son to try the second option. Everything worked! Yay!!! Not only did it help our son complete his project, but it also helped our family to resolve another lingering issue. Double victory! Yay!!!!
Again, I know it can be tough to set aside time to help, but there is always a blessing that comes from doing it. When creating a family team, be sure to "intentionally" help each other.....it allows you to accomplish a task together and it helps to enrich the relationships.
To God be the glory!
