Kenyan Living Experience (Click Here to see the site)

Oh my! I completely forgot about this site! 😒I started it when we first left the US and moved to Kenya, East Africa. 😁 lol. I had no idea we'd still be in Africa almost 12 years later...now living in Ghana. 😇

I took a one year leave of absence from my corporate job at GE to support my hubby with his new role and help the family transition. Time quickly passed and I never returned to GE. My career shifted into many other directions (which I never ever expected) and our family grew with one more child. 😊 Oh la...la....To God be the glory!

Now, almost 12 years later, we're still in Africa...now in Ghana, West Africa (for almost 10 years). The journey continues......😇 As I looked at this site, I though it would be good to share again. I have many friends and family who never visited Africa. So, I hope by sharing these pictures you'll get a glimpse of life here and key moments of the transition. Just sharing..... Have a Happy Sunday! Hugs, love, blessings, and FitTastic Health! Quiana Canfor-Dumas

Help each other...

Encourage everyone to keep a VISION and to continue to broadening their HORIZONS!

Encourage everyone to keep a VISION  a nd to continue broadening their HORIZONS!    "Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." Proverbs 29:18 "You can only see your current horizon.  Every time you move nearer to your desired destination, new horizons will become clear.  New, previously hidden, opportunities will come into view."  Chris Murray Years ago when my husband and I moved from the US to Kenya, East Africa, we knew it was an opportunity for us to broaden our horizons and to make our visions a reality.  As we began to have children, we wanted to show our children the "world" so they could also keep a vision and broad horizon as they grew.   Juggling through many conflicting demands, we managed to seize every travel opportunity that came our way.  On this particular picture, we were in Spain.  It wasn't a planned photo shoot.  Once I saw how cute they looked, lined up across a bric...
